Soumya Tiwari

Soumya Tiwari graduated 2008 from Osmania University, Hyderabad, and holds the degree Bachelor of Science in the field of biotechnology, microbiology, and chemistry and received 2010 the Master of Science in pharmaceutical chemistry of the VIT University, Vellore, India.

She has over 10 years of substantial experience in intellectual property rights and, more particularly, in the patent domain. Soumya Tiwari is a registered patent agent in India and is certified in field of intellectual property management, intellectual property issued by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and in IP protection and commercialization certification issued by the Federation of Indian, Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FICCI).

She works in patentability analysis studies, freedom to operate analysis, patent landscape studies, patent application drafting, and responding to office actions and examination reports along with interacting with the examiners. She has worked on technology transfer, and legal processes involved for complex organizations including research organizations, contract research organizations, and healthcare sectors.

Her technical expertise lies in particular in communications technology, polymer chemistry, biochemistry, medical technology.
